Meet Jonathan Mills! Jonathan played a pivotal role in the successful launch of our Liberty Church campus. He first came to Discover when he and his wife, Amanda, were seeking a church closer to home and were introduced to Discover Church through a friend’s baptism. This was the Sunday that Discover announced the Liberty Campus launch. They decided that this was exactly what they needed and were all in right away.
Over the next several months, the relationships built with the staff drove Jonathan and his family to make a commitment to serve in any way they could to make this campus a success. Amanda in Hospitality, Luke in worship team, and Jonathan in production.
God had been pushing Jonathan to lean in and trust that He has a plan and they get to be part of it. He said, “never have I seen the phrase ‘Christianity is a team sport’ come to life like I have in this church.” We are so thankful that Jonathan and his family have found a place to belong within our Discover Church family! Thanks to Jonathan’s commitment, lives are being changed by Jesus every week at our Liberty campus!
