LoveKC is a one-day, all-hands-on-deck, outreach opportunity. It is a consolidated, coordinated effort to impact our community, demonstrating Christ's love through influential and impactful acts of kindness.

Not all projects will accommodate young children. Read the descriptions to decide if the project is a good fit. Spots are limited.
Choose a project that you are passionate about. There will be opportunities to serve in different types of ways with different types of organizations.
Sign up for projects with the people you are close to. Serving is more fun together! You can serve with your small group or with your family and friends.
Don’t forget to wear your LoveKC t-shirt! You will be able to secure your t-shirt when you register.
Check project details for any needed equipment – like shovels or other types of tools.
Wear your LoveKC t-shirt and whatever clothing best suits the type of project you are doing.
Plan to attend the rally to connect, pray and fuel up on snacks, coffee and water before heading to your project location.

What to Expect
Rally
Gather with the rest of your church family at Northland Christian School at 9am:
- Breakfast
- Coffee/Juice
- Receive your t-shirt
- Load up on snacks and water for the day
- Pray
Huddle Up
After the rally, you will transport yourself to your project location. Plan to meet up with the project leader to get instructions for the project, once you get there.
Sweat
It’s our pleasure to serve our community and do our best to represent Jesus and Discover Church! We want to make a tangible difference in our city.
Pray
As the church, we are called to meet the physical and spiritual needs of our community. Before you leave, take time to pray over the people or organizations you are serving with.
