MEET LAURIE
Laurie and her family have been especially drawn to the excitement and energy that is Discover Church since they started attending in 2021. She quickly got plugged in and found great opportunities to use her giftings and passions. God has shown her that even the things that have felt like annoyances of herself have proved to be just the perfect uniqueness she brings to the team as she has stepped into the role of First Impressions Coordinator.
Laurie has a passion for the importance that an environment has on making space for people to encounter the Lord and that is what drives her to make Discover Church the most welcoming place for the people of Kansas City.
Laurie is married to Chris (who you see playing in the worship band) and a momma to two very sweet girls, Ellianna and Lila. She enjoys camping, hiking, concerts, eating alfresco, and hospitality!
