A Letter from our Pastor
At Discover Church, you will often hear us say "We don't want something FROM you; we want something FOR you." That is never more true than when we talk about money.
God is not a taker, He's a giver. In Jesus, we see that He GAVE His one and only Son that we might experience eternal life. Jesus says in John 10:10 that eternal life is categorized as one of abundance. Abundance of hope, joy, peace, freedom and victory! None of which are accessible in our lives apart from Jesus.
Sin causes us to live in a prison of death riddled with guilt and shame, shackled by fear and regret. But Jesus went to the cross and through the grave to change all of that forever! And once we've experienced the life God wants FOR us, it's only natural for us to want more people in our world...and all around THE world...to know more about the One who saved us, changed us and made us new.
And so, when we give our money, we aren't giving to a God who TAKES...we're giving to a God who GIVES. To a God who multiplies.
As for me, I'm thankful to be able to give the first portion of my money to God because I know that Discover Church is doing God's work to carry the good news of Jesus across our community, across our city and across the world. I see each dollar that I give as an investment that has an eternal return. And when I get to Heaven, I'm not going to miss out on the things I didn't spend my money on while on Earth. Instead, I will be thankful to have had the opportunity to invest into a work of God that not only affected Earth, but populated Heaven!
As members of this faith family, we have the opportunity to joyfully give our dollars not just TO Discover Church but THROUGH Discover Church and collectively see God multiply it for His Kingdom purposes!

Your giving makes a difference.
Caitlin started attending Discover Church in September of 2023 at one of the lowest times in her life. She found the community she had been so desperately searching for and very quickly found her salvation in Jesus. She declared this publicly through her baptism in January of 2024. She was eager to jump in and learn all about and immerse herself in her newfound faith.
Caitlin has grown and continues to grow through small groups and serving on Sunday mornings. It’s her story and others like hers that makes the investment worth it! When you give to Discover, you give through Discover and real lives are being changed by Jesus!
