Leadership
1. We are Pastor Led
Discover Church is led by the Lead Pastor, who sets the vision and direction for
the church, protects its heart and culture, and brings the teaching that keeps us
unified.
We use the terms Pastor, Elder, and Overseer interchangeably. The Pastors of
Discover Church serve as the spiritual leaders of the church.
The Lead Pastor works with the Pastoral Team to provide spiritual guidance for
the church.
Campus Pastors lead each location day-to-day by building leaders, caring for
people, and creating healthy environments.
The Lead Pastor leads the whole church forward.
The Campus Pastors lead each campus locally.

2. WE ARE STAFF-DIRECTED
Our staff leads the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church. They serve people, build teams, and carry out the vision and mission of Discover Church.

3. WE ARE BOARD-PROTECTED
Discover Church is protected by a Board of trusted, qualified leaders who provide oversight, accountability, and counsel.
What they do:
They provide financial and legal oversight, establish policies that guard the mission/vision and offer counsel on major decisions.
How they serve:
They support the Lead Pastor and care for his well-being, ensure integrity and accountability in leadership and help the church operate with wisdom and within the law.
Why it matters:
They help protect both the Pastor and the church so the mission can move forward with strength and clarity.
