LoveKC is a one-day, all-hands-on-deck, outreach opportunity. It is a consolidated, coordinated effort to impact our community, demonstrating Christ's love through influential and impactful acts of kindness.
At Thanksgiving, we partner with a local school district to donate food to families in need right here in our neighborhood.
Starting October 26th, you can pick up an empty box or 2 or 3 with a grocery list, fill the box and bring it back the next Sunday.
Thanksgiving boxes will be collected in our church lobby, at each location, through November 16th.
The estimated cost to fill a box is $25–$40 depending on where you shop.
This is a great way to involve your family or small group—shop together, make it a fun scavenger hunt, pray for the families who will receive your boxes.
November 22nd we will set up a delivery system in the local school parking lot.
