Discover Church Northland is a biblically based church in the Northland of Kansas City, Missouri, created for people who want to grow in faith, build real community, and raise their families on a strong spiritual foundation.
Kids
Every Sunday, all children (babies through 5th grade) can experience the Bible in a creative and relevant way. Our Discover Kids team will prioritize safe, engaging, and age-appropriate kids environments where children can learn the Bible, experience God’s love, and build lifelong faith. While kids grow, parents are encouraged and equipped to follow Jesus and lead their families with purpose.
Students
We want to see Middle and High School students thriving in an authentic relationship with God and connected to the local church. Our student ministry helps to bridge students from the world to the Church.
Life Change
We believe church is about more than attending services. At Discover Church, people find belonging through small groups, serving teams, and meaningful relationships that help them grow in faith and walk through life together.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Whether you are new to church or you’ve grown up in church, you have a place at Discover. Each weekend you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, dynamic worship music and a practical relevant message.
You’ll find everything from shorts and flip flops to ties and skirts. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Discover Church isn’t about what you look like or what you wear.
Discover Church is a refreshing atmosphere designed to be engaging for the whole family. There is a live band that will lead in worship and a Jesus-centered, Bible-based message. The entire service lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Our mission as a church is to help you discover life in Christ, belonging in community and purpose in God’s calling so you can make a difference. We do this through our Sunday morning services, small groups, and our Next Steps Course.

When you sign up for Plan Your Visit we’ll:
✅ meet you at the front door
✅ help you get your kids checked in
✅ introduce you around to a few people
✅ save you seats
✅ we’ll even sit with you if you want (so you don't have to sit by yourself)
We want to make your first visit as easy as possible, and actually take time to get to know you and your family.
